A new site for internationally renound artist Mark Weighton - Contemporary Art. Mark is able to manage the site himself, creating new exhibition
archives and images of work in progress. Working closely with Mark to
achieve the design he required, the site is built using open source
tools: Joomla and Gallery2 Mark had very definite ideas about the style of his site, but wanted to be able to change the text and images himself. He also wanted to be able to add new exhibitions and display his work in progress. Gallery2, the open source software for image categorisation and storage was used, integrated with Joomla! the open source content management system. Gallery2 allows Mark to upload one image and it will automaitcally size the image to thumbnails and whatever other sizes he requires. Visit the site at Mark Weighton - Contemporary Art
