With our associates, Imaginarium, Light Source won a bid against 20 competitors to design, deliver and host a sizeable project for the Devon Museums Group.

There are 120 museums in Devon all of whom can maintain their own pages of content, loading up images and documents, creating news stories, managing events, outlining their educational services.

The site allows users to run sophisticated searches against this information so that, for example, a teacher can find all the museums running a Key Stage One day on the Romans.

Each museum can maintain:

• Museum details such as directions and opening hours
• Collection information
• News stories
• Events - such as special exhibitions
• Learning material for schools
